www.lunagetsfit.usGiving birth to a child is among the most wonderful experiences a woman can go through. I had the worst experiences ever, and never want to do it again. Can we say adoption!  After a child is born most of new moms get stressed while dealing with the postpartum weight loss, in fact I am still dealing with weight now and my son is 2 years old. Is it impossible for your body to have the same shape as it had before you gave birth. Can't I go back to just needing to lose a few pounds! I have so many regrets, one of them is choosing the wrong mate(that story is for another blog post). But my mistakes made me into the woman I am today. Hopefully I can help you walk a better path than I did when I was preggo's. Are you eager to get your shape back after childbirth? Below are THINGS I WISH I WOULD HAVE DONE BEFORE AND AFTER BABY!  I hope this will help you have even a better body shape than you were before you got pregnant. Totally focusing on your MIND, BODY, AND SPIRIT!

Fitness: Time to Upgrade | No comments:

Goals: Meditate at least 15 minute daily.
Perform 20 push-ups without stopping.
Get a least 8 hours of sleep daily.
Eat five different vegetables and fruit daily.
More outside workouts than at home or the gym.
Have Fun!

I am doing this, great find 30 Day Challenge.


Fitness Plan:  Walking with my baby boy daily. Real Momma also has and a great article about walking being the best and inexpensive workout. So I am walking 310,000 or more steps in the month of August. Tuesdays and Thursdays doing a great ab workout created for me by my friend. Monday, Wednesday and Friday's is strength training, full body. My son loves going out to the park, beach and the swim stadium, so most of my workouts will be in those places.

Beginner Ab Workout
30 Crunches
20 Leg Raises
30 second Flutters Kicks
60 Second Planks 
30 Cross Crunches
20 Cycling Cross
20 Heel Touches
20 Superman
Do these twice and done.
This may or may not get rid of my postpartum belly fat, but it will look a lot better.

Diet or Live-it


I have a simple diet plan that was recommended to me by Simple Science Fitness. They have a awesome food pyramid. 
But basically my intake of vegetable, grains, meat, and fruit will outweigh my needs for sweets and alcohol. 

Sleep

I need to go to bed before 12am, and wake up before 8am. I have to take a nap, just like we use too when we were kids. Mayo Clinic has a great article about why napping is important for adults.



I will try to have as much fun as possible. I may even start back painting and dancing. So I hope you guys will do this challenge with me.
