Drink Water for Weight-Loss

Recent studies show that water can aid in weight loss. Scientists and others have used this evidence to strengthen suggestions that persons who are in need of losing weight can augment rather than replacing their dietary programs through drinking water before or after meals, or at given any time. In addition, dieticians had been issuing such pieces of advice even before this research came to being.

Drinking Plenty of Water

There are plenty of ways of using water to cut your weight. The two main ways include adhering to water diet and following water fast. In order to adhere to water diet, before a meal, ensure you drink a glass of water, as this will make you consume little calories. Another step is replacing drinks that are sweet with water; such drinks include juice, soda, among others. Research also points out that drinking cold water hikes the speed of your metabolism hence faster burning of calories. Also, consider combining a diet, which is restricted to calorie and water diet.

Detox

Finally, emphasize on following a brief water detox diet, which consists of short periods of taking fluid with a purpose of flushing toxins from your body in order to prevent bloating. Include the following as ways of adhering to water fast program: For breakfast, sipping unsweetened green tea and for lunch, taking seltzer water is the first way. In addition, find a safe water additive or take herbal supplements to balance sodium and potassium (electrolytes). Replacing unhealthy foods with fresh produce, salads and lean proteins and replacing a single meal with pure water are also ways of following water fast program.
